At Suvarna Silks India, we are committed to your satisfaction and trust. Our Return and Refund Policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and in line with leading saree e-commerce brands and Indian consumer protection laws.
1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges
Returns/Exchanges are accepted only for:
- Products with genuine quality issues, manufacturing defects, or if you receive a wrong or missing item.
- Damaged products reported within the specified timeframe (see below).
Returns/Exchanges are NOT accepted for:
- Color variations due to digital photography or screen settings.
- Customized, altered, or made-to-order products.
- Products that have been used, washed, or are not in their original condition and packaging.
- Items purchased during clearance or special sales (unless defective).
2. Timeframe for Return/Exchange Requests
Domestic Orders:
- Raise your return or exchange request within 7 days of delivery.
- In case of any damaged/ defective or missing products in your order kindly reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will not be able to help you if this timeline is exceeded.
International Orders:
- Currently, we do not offer returns or exchanges for international orders. For any concerns, please contact us directly.
3. Return/Exchange Process
Initiate Request:
- Email us at suvarnasilksindia@gmail.com with your order number, reason, and photos/videos of the product & packaging.
- For claims of damage/missing items, an unboxing video is mandatory.
Approval:
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2โ3 business days.
Pickup/Shipping:
- For approved requests, weโll arrange pickup (where available) or guide you on return shipping.
- For returns not caused by Suvarna Silks India, customers bear the return shipping charges.
Quality Check:
- Returned items undergo a thorough inspection before approval.
Resolution:
- If approved, you may choose between:
- Replacement (subject to availability)
- Store Credit (valid for 60 days)
- Refund (only for genuine defects or wrong/damaged items; see below)
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed only for:
- Orders with manufacturing defects, wrong, or missing items, after verification.
Refund Method:
- Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 10-15 business days after successful verification.
Deductions:
- Shipping charges, payment gateway fees, and COD charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the error is on our part.
Store Credit:
- For other eligible returns, store credit may be issued instead of a cash refund.
5. Conditions for Returns/Exchanges
- Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags intact.
- The unboxing video is mandatory for claims of damage, defect, or missing items.
- Returns/exchanges are not accepted for reasons of personal dislike, minor color variation, or change of mind.
- Products purchased during sales, offers, or with store credit are not eligible for refunds, but may be exchanged or receive store credit (as per policy).
6. Exceptions
Customized/Altered Products:
- No returns, exchanges, or refunds.
Accessories, Blouses, and Gift Items:
- Not eligible for return or exchange unless defective.
7. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.
- Refunds for cancelled orders (before dispatch) will be processed after deducting any applicable transaction fees.
